1963 Corvette Stingray Convertible
This multi-generational head turner was built to be driven! This high-performance road vehicle represents the true 1st Model year of the classic C2 Stingray. It's all new design featured independent four-wheel suspension, an AM/FM Wonderbar radio, original spinner hub caps, and disappearing headlamps. This Corvette is number 20,664 of 21,523 produced and was built in July of 1963.
This car has never been restored; it has only been maintained and modified. This 1963 looks as it did when it rolled off the St. Louis, MO assembly line in red with its black interior.
Under the hood you will find the 327 cubic inch V8 mated to a 700 R4 automatic transmission. The combination of the 3:36 posi-traction and overdrive allows for leisurely drives delivering up to 26mpg! The engine is also equipped with a four-barrel carburetor, and a 2 ½ inch exhaust.
To enhance safety, performance, drivability, and dependability, the following modifications, improvements and special features have been added:
Power steering
Electronic ignition system
Dual brake master cylinder
Fiberglass rear mono-springs
Micro-adjustable rear struts
Rear 5/8” stabilizer bar
