This vehicle was acquired by me approximately 38 years ago. I did most of the restoration work myself over the period of a few years. The paint, motor and transmission rebuilds were done by others, although I did strip the body down to bare metal myself. The car came the way it is set up now, with the seats (re- upholstered) out of a Datsun 240Z and the bumper modifications. The seats fit quite nicely and I think they are a nice addition. I added the roll bar. The surrey top is all aluminum, (window frame and top lid), the lid needing some dent and ding removal and paint. There is a rag top for between the rear and back window to use as a sample to make a new one if desired. The American mags also came on the car, . The motor has Webber dcoe carbs, Mallory dual point distributer and custom exhaust. I did a recent compression check with a range of 150 to 160 psi. The motor starts and runs good and the car drives good. The car has been driven infrequently since it has been restored and been kept in storage , with I'm guessing less than 2000 miles since the restoration. For this reason I would recommend some mechanical work, although most everything was replaced, father time has dried out hoses and so on, and there is an oil leak that developed towards the front of the motor. This is a very clean car, the paint is very nice, without blemishes, interior in very nice condition, the tires are a couple of years old with a few miles on them. It is tough for me to sell the car, with all the TLC that I have put into it, but due to age (mine) , it is tougher for me to maintain and work on the car.
