he always brings them in immaculate detail better than what we
would do and they're always very functional and they're always the
sharpest looking cars this one is no exception.
EXTERIOR: Holy cow is this car slick! I mean this bright red paint
in the sunlight looks like red glass. It is very polished, even
slick to the touch. I never use the word perfect but this paint and
body has to be about as close as it gets. Handsome gray stripes.
Jambs are just as slick. Bright sill plates, new weatherstrips and
window seals. The wheels are painted and cleared, glossy finish.
New caps, trim rings and BFG tires. Windshield is crystal clear.
All the anodized trim around the windows shine like chrome.
INTERIOR: I open the door and it looks like a new car. Interior
lights come on, it's detailed spotlessly. Seats look like they have
never been sat in. They feel the same way too, cushions are firm
like new. Door panels are pristine, window cranks and door handles
sparkle. The tilt steering wheel has no wear. Center console is
mint doesn't have any cigarette burns, cuts or cracks. The
instrument panel is mint, has rally gauges and original AM FM
8-track radio. In the glovebox is a neatly instalked modern stereo.
The red carpet is like new, has original mats. Headliner, visors,
plastic trim is excellent.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Looks new. Has black carpet liner. The original
collapsible spare includes original air bottle. Jack is like new,
mounted properly. Jamb and bottom of trunk lid are high gloss,
rubber is mint.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Detailed in here to. Looks just like it did in
1979. Clean, proper finishes. Has all the propper hoses, valve
covers, air cleaner with duct work, heat riser tube etc. Air
conditioning is updated with R-134 Freon.
UNDERSIDE: Perfectly clean metal that has been freshed up with a
coat of satin black paint. The lower inner 1/4s are spotless and
still have factory drain plugs. The bottom of the 1/4s and wheel
well lips still show the factory spotwelds. Has Turbo 350 auto
trans with finned aluminum pan. There is a real nice stainless
custom exhaust with X pipe and transverse muffler. Sounds sweet!
Everything under the car looks proper- parking brake cables, front
end components, bushings etc. Bottom of motor is clean.
This car is sharp looking, performs and functions like new. It
really is one of the best detailed cars I have. Ready to go
straight to a show. Includes literature- shop manual, owner's
manual, sales brochure, new window sticker. Supposedly sold new at
Dale Earnhardt Chevy.
