This project is based on a hard to find, all steel Plymouth
3-window coupe. Only 9,696 of these rare, oval rear window cars
were ever built and few exist today.
It is powered by a 318ci V-8 tied to an automatic transmission
throwing power to the new tires through a Chevy rear-end. The
exterior is rat rod "rough" but rust free and painted in a matte
black tough coat paint. It sits on a Mustang II front suspension
and steelies with half moon chrome hubcaps. We also happen to have
in stock all four fenders and a hood w/sides that are unfinished
available for purchase should you want to switch back to the
restoration route rather that rat rod.
The interior is raw and ready to be finished (but functional as it
sits) with a full gauge package, tilt steering wheel, full gauge
package and a nice Kenwood stereo system. All the hard work has
been done on this car just waiting for you to finish it. These all
steel cars fetch big money even without a drive train. This has one
that is extremely reliable making this car an easy daily
driver.
It is being offered at $19,999.00!
This car is being represented for a collector in Seattle,
Washington area.
