European Motor Studio is excited to offer this Dakar Yellow over Black leather 1997 BMW M3 5-Spd Coupe. After completion at the BMW factory August of 1996 in Germany, this M3 was invoiced to North American and sold new in November of 1996 in Los Angeles California where the car would live until the end of 2013 where it would move to Minnesota. This M3 come with a clean and clear Carfax report and a clean and clear title. This is a very well presented E36 M3 finished in rare Dakar Yellow showing an excellent paint finish free from any major damage or blemishes. There are a few stone chips in the front nose, one small scratch on the rear trunk lid and one small scrape on the driver side rear fender above the wheel. Overall the paint condition is very nice with an excellent luster with no clear coat issues. The interior is in excellent condition with minor age to the driver seat bolster and the passenger seat bolster. Overall the leather is still soft and shows incredibly well. The dash is in excellent condition free from any lifting or shrinkage and the carpets all look good with minor age. The iconic straight six engine starts right up and performs beautifully. The engine pulls very strong and is very responsive. The clutch and transmission have a tight feel free from any slipping or grinding. The suspension is nice and tight free from any noises and the steering is tight without any shakes or looseness. Brakes have an excellent responsive feel free from any fade or squeal. All of the electronics in the car appear to be operating as designed including the windows, locks, AC/heater and the interior and exterior lights. The service graph is full to the green and there are no lights on the dash. This is an excellent running and driving M3 that has started taking notice in the collector car world lately. Still manufactured in the era of the analog cars rather than all the computers this is a great edition to any collection.
