This car had a frame off restoration in 1996. I have all the receipts and photos of its progress. There was approximately $41,000 spent on the original restoration. I purchased it within the last year, and have since invested in a rebuilt (original upgraded components) transmission which has the electric overdrive in 3rd and 4th gears. New vacuum advance from Vacuum unit supplier (upgrade). New distributor, new tires, new rear springs and shocks, replaced all seat cushions and diaphragms. Hood insulation, trunk liner and any bulbs that were not working. New master cylinder, rebuilt servo and PDMA switch. This car also has the upgraded quad exhaust which makes a real throaty sound. The convertible top has one small repaired tear in it, but is sound. The car runs great, tracks great. According to Tom at BRITISH MILES in PA, "This is one of the nicest solid TR6's I have seen in a while.” This collector car is in great shape with no rust. Paint is beautiful as well. She won't last long!!
