This 49 Merc is 99 percent complete. Has original motor, transmission, dash, etc.
It still has the original Mercury flathead V8, (engine still turns) but I have not tried to start the engine. Also has original 3 speed transmission, shifts on the column. Engine is complete right down to the original air cleaner (is in trunk). Extra water pump in trunk.
Interior is all there, including dash, gauges, moldings, key switch.
Good body, nice front clip, grille, hood, etc Doors open and close, but one outside door handle is broken. Glass is flat glass, and is aged, so will need to be replaced. Back glass is in good condition. Good floors and trunk floor is also good. Surface rust on roof, drip rails, around windows no rust out, trunk lid, hood, etc.
Extra parts and manual, plus, header pipes for flat head v8.
The body has some dings and dents, but no big dents.
