Let's go fishing in this classic, unmodified 1970 Ford F-100 Sport
Custom short wheelbase pickup! Sometimes, when you find something
as nice as this pickup, the best thing to do is leave it alone!
Sure, the truck has benefited from a meticulous repaint and
professional upholstery job, but the work was done to get it back
to original factory conditions. Photos were taken of the whole
process, and they document the care and quality of the work on this
virtually rust-free Southern pickup. All the exterior chrome trim
was pulled, and a single small 3" x 5" patch of surface rust was
cut out and replaced with metal. Fresh Wimbledon White and New Lime
grace this great truck once again. The interior has been nicely
tailored in the original medium green, just like back in the
day.
Notice the original stance, the 15" wheels with white wall tires
and deluxe wheel covers-it wasn't broken, there's nothing to fix.
Leave it and love it! Powered by the original 302 V8, a superb Ford
motor by all acounts, with your foot working the pedal, the dual
exhaust makes you the conductor at a symphony. The manual
transmission shifts three-on-the-tree, practically a security
device these days!
This is a very solid, original Ford truck, with authentic touches
like the markings from the factory still scrawled across the
underside of the hood. If you have great memories with your dad or
granddad in a truck like this, this is your chance to create and
share more great memories with the next generation. Call Art &
Speed at (901) 850-0507. Don't just catch fish, make memories
fishing!
