Vehicle Description
This stunning 1973 1/2 sunroof 911 T was obtained from the estate
of a well known Porsche collector.Due to the circumstance I was
unable to talk to the longtime owner about the particulars of the
history of the car.
When photographing I noted the last registration on the license
plate was 1998.I then put the car up on the lift to take
undercarriage pictures,I was absolutely blown away with the vision
of a brand new 1973 911 in the engine compartment, suspension and
brake components as well as the underside of the entire car.I
contacted the estate,I was told the car was indeed a garage find
car,a largely original example that was given an extensive detail
in lieu of a full restoration. I have bought and sold Porsche cars
for 44 years,I have never seen a "detail" to the extent this car
had,it all looks brand new.Whether it is brand new or highly
detailed, what I have to offer is an exceptional example.
The sunroof is a factory sunroof. The COA has been ordered, the
engine number is 6120871,transmission is 7338339,the vin is
9113102471.
The car runs and drives as nice as it is beautiful cosmetically. The
engine is tight, void of leaks,it does not smoke. The transmission is
tight with good synchros and smooth shift. The suspension feels
new.
I have posted over 60 pictures, take close attention to the
undercarriage details.
The interior is as clean as the exterior paint, good headliner,no
weather damage on dash, upgraded leather Recaro seats, clean and
accurate gauges,tight door cards,good carpets.
The car is obviously a car that has not suffered from rust or
accident history. The body panels are razor straight with perfect
factory panel gaps.
