Vehicle Description
The Sprite was built for thirteen years from 1958 through 1971.
Such advertisements read "A car that a Chap could keep in his bike
shed". It was a low cost small convertible that had a sister car in
the MG Midget which is why these cars are also referred to as a
Spridget. The Mark II was built from 1961 through 1964 and was
offered with a 948 cc to start and ended with a 1098 cc. This
particular sprite is being offered with a later 1275 CC making this
little car a blast to drive taking the horsepower to a whopping 65
vs 48 of the Mark II. This particular car has been lovingly cared
for and has been restored in parts throughout its life. It comes
with a like new soft top with side curtains, tonneau and dust
cover. This Sprite also comes with all service and receipts, tech
and service book. In addition to looking fabulous, this car starts,
runs and shifts through the gears as it should. It is a true
delight to drive.
