1930 Ford Model A for sale in our Tampa Showroom is ready for its
next owner. This beauty is painted in a Black paint with green pin
striping scheme with green wire wheels to match. It looks great and
runs just as good! The 4-cylinder engine and manual transmission
still power this Model A down the road and a lot of new parts keep
it running right. A 12-volt system has been updated, a new battery,
new alternator, moto meter, new oil seal, rebuilt starter, and even
the electrical wiring have been updated to make it more usable in
today's world. Options are limited but include cloth interior, wire
wheels with hub caps, and bias ply tires. The Model A was the first
Ford to use the standard set of driver controls with conventional
clutch and brake pedals, throttle, and gearshift. Previous Fords
used controls that had become uncommon to drivers of other makes.
The Model A's fuel tank was situated in the cowl, between the
engine compartment's fire wall and the dash panel. It had a visual
fuel gauge, and the fuel flowed to the carburetor by gravity. A
rear-view mirror was optional. In cooler climates, owners could
purchase an aftermarket cast iron unit to place over the exhaust
manifold to provide heat to the cab. A small door provided
adjustment of the amount of hot air entering the cab. The Model A
was the first car to have safety glass in the windshield. Almost 5
million Model A Fords were produced in 9 different body styles
before it was replaced by the Ford Model B. This 1930 Ford Modal A
is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater
