Vehicle Description
1964 Chevrolet Nova Convertible
The Nova was introduced by Chevrolet in 1962 and would later join
the group of 60s vehicles known as muscle cars. This 1st gen
classic is an older show car that was built using components from 2
donor cars. It is being sold out of an estate and has sat for a
while but it was just gone through mechanically. It still needs
some TLC but the motor does turn over and the car runs. The body is
painted White with custom Red Violet and Blue graphics. The
original chrome bumpers, grill, light bezels, emblems and trim
pieces are all there. The front windshield is tinted and free from
damage. The car rides on steel wheels with late model hubcaps. The
convertible top mechanism is not currently in place but it comes
with a 2nd parts car that does have those parts. Unfortunately the
estate has been unable to locate titles for either vehicles.
The car is powered by an inline 6 cylinder motor and automatic
transmission. The suspension, brakes, and drivetrain is all stock.
A chrome air cleaner and Chevrolet chrome valve cover was added at
some point in the past.
The interior upholstery is White and the car has bench seats in
front and rear. The dash is painted White as well but a few
components have been painted to match the stripe on the body. All
of the original components like the gauges, knobs, switches and
radio are there. It even has the original steering wheel which was
later wrapped with leather.
If you are looking for your next project let your mind run wild
with this 64 Nova. Come with a 2nd parts car. With some creative
thinking and some TLC it could be one cool custom.
