This is a very fine example of a 1966 Plymouth Belvedere II which
was the mid-level trim option for
that year. This particular car has maintained it's original
integrity in terms of the way it looks and
drives.
These mid 60's Plymouth's set up like this one are so comfortable
to drive, they have great
performance, and when they're clean and restored to this level,
they are a pleasure to own, operate, and
present at a car show. This Belvedere is very reliable as the
engine has been upgraded with some nice
components during it's rebuild such as: headers, aluminum intake
manifold, rebuilt carburetor,
electronic ignition, and a mild performance cam.
The heavy duty Torque-flight automatic transmission shifts smooth
and true, and the Belvedere is
comfortable and rock solid at any speed.
You'll notice all of the trim and bright-work is present on the
car, and the weather stripping was
replaced during the paint process.
The car has a nice stance, and a nice wheel and tire package to
round out the impressive look of this fun
-to-drive classic.
