This is a very, very nice, excellent running Studebaker Commander.
Restored some time in the mid
90's, and driven selectively since, It's obvious this Commander has
lived most of it's life in the garage,
as there is no rust in this car!
This is an excellent car to cruise around in and take the family or
some friends with you. It's very
comfortable, and is truly in amazing condition.
The black and white paint combination is spot on for the era, and
the body panels are excellent!
The interior was restored, and is extremely clean and
comfortable.
The engine almost starts before you turn the key, and runs as
smooth as a sewing machine. Pull the
automatic into drive and the little 259 V8 pulls the Commander
around just fine.
The undercarriage of this Studebaker is original, clean, and dry.
No patch panels, rusted areas or
damage. This car is amazingly preserved.
If you follow a different path than most, and you relate that to
your classic car selection, this
Studebaker should fit nicely into your desire for a unique
collector car.
All trim and bright-work is present on the car, and there's quite
of bit of it. The luggage compartment is
also very clean, and the weatherstripping is soft and pliable.
This is a fantastic example of a car you may have seen on the road
back in the late '50's-early'60's, that
you just don't see anymore...A very cool Sedan!!
