European Motor Studio is very excited to offer this exceptional 1986 Ferrari 412 finished in an alluring Argento Metallic over Rosso leather. Imported into the US in August of 1986 and sold new by Ferrari of Houston to its first owner on October 21, 1986 where the car lived until 1988 when it moved to Illinois where the owner had the car until selling it in 2006. The car then moved to Michigan where it remained until moving to Arizona this year. This is an exceptional example that has been kept highly original with a very extensive file of documentation dating back to brand new and only covering 10,900 original documented miles. Wearing mostly all of its original paint (the nose has been repainted but no signs of any accident history) and what appears to be all original trim and glass. The body is in beautiful condition free from any rust or damage. The interior is in stunning original condition and does not look or feel as though the seats have ever had any dye work. The headliner and dash all look outstanding with no sag or shrinkage. The engine fires right up and idles very smooth and free from any smoke under start up or acceleration. The car has excellent power and works well with the auto gearbox. Smooth shifts are easy and quick with no signs of any issues and the brakes have an excellent solid feel free from any fade. The suspension is very nice and smooth but firm. The rear accumulators have just been replaced and the car keeps level with ease. All of the electronics are operating as they should including the power mirrors, power seats, power windows, power locks, power antenna with original factory radio, power trunk and hood latch and power gas door release. All of the lights are working as they should including the interior lights and all of the dash lights. The AC works as does the heater and the car stays cool with the fans coming on at the appropriate time. A major service has just been completed on the car including two new fuel pumps and filters. Accompanied with the sale are two original Ferrari keys plus the gas and door key, all original Ferrari books with dealer signatures and stampings, the original leather Ferrari book pouch, the original tool kit and jack in their original bags, parts and shop manuals and an extensive documentation file dating back to new and a clean Carfax. Rarely seen for sale, the 412 was the final iteration of the front engine V12 GT car built in the Enzo era.
