Vehicle Description
STK 2438 1955 Ford Crown Victoria
Ford produced many versions of their full-size model in 1955. The
top trim-level was the new Crown Victoria 2-door hardtop that
featured a chrome 'basket handle' across the hardtop roof. This
styling concept visually separated the front and rear passenger
compartments. The Crown Vic model with its stylish roof, extensive
chrome and subtle rear fins was 1955 to perfection. This particular
Crown Victoria was the beneficiary of a partial restoration in
2013. The exterior was professionally re-sprayed in Burgundy and
Colonial White. Exterior accents include front/rear chrome bumper
guards, rear fender skirts and 15" UniRoyal radial white-walls and
full wheel covers. Its interior was refreshed with burgundy/white
vinyl and plush burgundy carpet. A beautiful dash with AM radio and
factory gauges is very easy to enjoy. Under the hood is a rebuilt
(2013) U-code 272ci V8 with 2-barrel carburetor that produces 162
horsepower and 258 lb/ft of torque. Behind this Y-block is the
2-speed Ford-O-Matic transmission. A power-assisted master cylinder
operates 11" drum brakes and the electrical system has been
upgraded to 12-volts. This classic Ford Crown Victoria is ready for
a new owner who will appreciate the unique style of this full-size
classic. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
