1980 Jeep Cj-5 Renegade
This Jeep has been restored from the ground up to create a perfect weekend driver. Lots of new parts have been put onto the jeep to ensure its reliability. The 4.2L 6cyl engine was rebuilt 900 miles ago. The exact mileage of the jeep is not exact, but its around 70,000. The original speedometer was changed by the previous owner. New Skyjacker suspension was installed. All springs and shackles were changed including the shocks. New Tom Woods drive shafts were put in. A full painless wiring harness was also added, so all the electrics work. A JCR off-road bed tire carrier was put in to give the jeep a sporty look. The brand new short bestop seats give you a comfortable fun ride. We also put a Bestop bikini top on so when it rains or is just too hot, you can be protected. The axle shafts where swapped to a much stronger one piece axle. All axle bearings and seals where replaced. the brakes where restored, they have power brakes to give you reliable stopping power. The clutch was replaced so you have a very sporty feeling acceleration. The interior was painted in a tough bed liner. The exterior was sanded down to bare metal, and painted in a eye catching Hugger orange. The engine block was painted in blue that matches the Renegade decal. The frame and under body was all painted in a dark grey. This is a great looking icon to drive around in. There are almost 800 working hours put into this vintage jeep. This is the jeep you have always been dreaming about.
