Aside from the builder, I am the second owner and both of us are seniors in Southern California. This is a very well constructed car and is loaded. Being the last of the “fat fender” era, the 1948 models incorporated the best of previous years. The ‘48s are bigger, heavier and more stylish. This one has a lot of interior room and weighs about 3400 lbs. It is sturdy, safe, comfortable and runs cool. The mileage is low at only 21,394 miles and it is in excellent condition. The car is a combination of high mechanical reliability and excellent showmanship. It is fun and easy to both drive and take to car shows. It has had no serious operational situations, has never been in an accident and has won many car show awards.
