Purchased on 9/12/63 from Westfield Motor Sales in Westfield, Mass. The trade was a 1957 Ford Fairlane 500. (Copy of Bill of Sale included). The 1963 Bill of Sale shows undercoating which kept the car from rust along with meticulous servicing and cleaning. The car was said to be undercover for it’s lifetime. The car was in the family until the original owner passed away and left it to a family member who sold it to me. My original intention was to put a big block motor in the car. It was way too nice and original to make it into a Hot Rod. The car has Ice Cold Vintage Air Conditioning. New exhaust, new shocks and upgraded to power brakes. Reconditioned radiator, new hoses and a fresh tune up. This car absolutely drives like new. The car shows and cruise ins, or just trips will be done in absolute comfort. The interior is original and is in absolutely amazing condition with no tears or stains. There is a small repair to the driver’s side panel near the arm rest. There were no tears but the chrome look application wore from opening and closing the door, so a little touching up in that area was necessary. The exterior has a light patina, mostly on the front hood. Trunk mat is original and in great condition. Spare looks to be the original. Trunk has jack storage instructions under lid in great readable condition. This is original paint. No rust issues of any kind. The exterior trim is intact and close to perfect. I give the exterior trim a solid 9. The bumpers are in great shape with no dents or rust. Chrome is in great condition. Detailed engine compartment and undercarriage. The mileage on the speedometer shows 30, 600 miles and is said to be original. The title, however, shows Exempt because of the age of the car.
This car has been gone over bumper to bumper. Everything works including the original radio. Look at the pictures. They tell the story much better than words. One really nice find at an affordable price. You can ask questions or view the car anytime. Inspections are encouraged. Take a test drive.
