For Sale: 1930 American Austin Series A in Morgan Hill, California
Full Throttle is proud to present this 1930 American Austin Series
A in original condition. Previously from the personal collection of
Bill Harrah, Harrah's Hotel & Casinos, this rare small car was last
purchased from the Harrah's Automobile collection in the 80's and
comes with a certificate of authenticity. American Austins were
made in the USA from 1929 through 1934, but died off due to the
depression. The company was eventually purchased and re-named
American Bantam. Boasting a 747 cc in-line four cylinder engine,
this small car could reach 40 MPG and had a top speed of 50 MPH.
This particular car was recently rescued from a local Bay Area barn
and just recently saw the road for the first time in over 30 years.
After a thorough flushing, tune up, and carb rebuild, this rare
classic American/British small car purrs like it did in 1930!
