Vehicle Description
This 1979 Ford F150 is a hard to find 4x4 Short Box. It came from
the pacific Northwest and this truck is clean!! Never a rusty truck
it was repainted 1 time in its original Factory Color of Chrome
Yellow which looks like Orange. The last owner owned this truck
since 1983 and he did a lot of nice upgrades to this vehicle and
maintained it religiously. This truck was mainly used to tow his
small fishing boat and for some nice weekend cruising. This was
never used as a daily driver and it shows. The body is super clean
and very straight. The repaint is very nice quality and looks
great! He had the bed rhino lined and added a 30 gallon gas Tank
for convenience and it was tastefully and professionally done. The
interior is mostly original with the exception of the seat being
recovered and it looks very nice. He also added gauges and
aftermarket cruise control. Because he was in the mountains he also
added adjustable timing control which is a nice option to have with
the altitude change.
The engine originally came with a 351 V8 and the last owner swapped
it out with a 390 V8 Manufactured Engine which is a great upgrade.
This truck has a lot of power and is very fun to drive. It was a
mild build and it has a 4 barrel carb, electronic ignition, and
dual exhaust. Everything under the hood is new or rebuilt in the
last 2,000 miles. The truck runs amazing and drives excellent!! The
Transmission is the T18 4 Speed manual that shifts excellent with
the NP205 Transfer Case. It also has newer 31 Inch Tires.
