over 820000 units sold it was by far the best-selling car in 63.
The full-size car came with a variety of drivelines with anything
from an inline 6 standard to the monstrous 425HP 409 engine. The
biggest hit that year was the SS package which accounted for almost
30% of the Impala's sales. A trim package that gave the car a
little more styling and could be added to any Impala. This 63 has
undergone an extensive restoration and it shows well. The paint on
