Vehicle Description
#s matching with 4-speed and air. Claimed to be 32,684 actual
miles. Same owner for 30 years and it was barely driven. Honestly I
can't prove or disprove the miles. It is a good car with some
upgrades and some nice original qualities. We just took it to a
professional Corvette restoration shop and asked him to inspect and
service it. We spent $1,257 on a new carb, caliper, repaired wiper
door and headlight doors. The car runs and drives great. It has
it's original vin # matched motor, trans and # matched rear end.
Factory blue car too.
EXTERIOR: Very attractive original targa blue metallic color. It
does have a glossy smooth finish but it is an older paint job. Upon
inspection you will find touch ups, flaws a blister on the hood.
The body appears to be in excellent shape. Everything fits great
including the headlights, wiper door, hood, doors and trunk. Ok,
seeing if your paying attention, it doesn't have a trunk. Has
original 15x8 rally wheels. The window seals and weather strips
appear to be excellent. The chrome is not new but bright. This is
the last year for a chrome bumper Vette. Also the rear window pops
out and of course t-tops are removable.
INTERIOR: The seats look perfect, new upholstery and cushions so
they fit tight. New door panels. Dash area is original and very
nice, the vents, knobs, lenses are very clean. Steering wheel does
not show much wear. It has an upgraded stereo system with 6 inch
speakers and tweeters in the doors, 5 inch speakers in back and an
ampliphier. Also has owner's manual tilt-telescopic and power
windows.
MOTOR COMPARTMENT: It is actually very clean under the hood. Motor
is claones to be rebuilt and it is believable. It is clean from oil
pan to valve covers. Upgraded aluminum intake, Edelbrock carb and
headers. Everything else looks very clean and proper- master,
alternater look new, fan and shroud are excellent.
UNDERSIDE: Very propper and original. Frame is solid, fiberglass
floors are not damaged.
#s match 4-speed with air. I think it is a well preserved car with
some patina. Great driver as is. We recently sold a blue 72 Vette
with fresher paint for $10,000 more!
