Vehicle Description
1973 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible
This 1973 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible has all the massive curb
appeal you can handle! It is loaded with every bell and whistle
available and feels like you are floating on a cloud going down the
road. 1973 was a big year for the Eldorado. Cadillac moved it out
of their iconic Fleetwood line and re-establish it as its own
series. In the process, it received a facelift that included the
addition of a signature "egg-crate" style front grille, new front
and rear bumpers, a more refined decklid and rear fenders and
re-shaped tail lamps. Cadillac's handiwork was a rousing success,
revitalizing sales and leading to the Eldorado's selection as the
official pace car of the Indianapolis 500 that year. This all
original car looks great with clean, straight chrome bumpers in
both front and back, undented trim and well-fitted body panels, as
evidenced by just how smoothly those sizable doors open and close
and how those prominent stretches of chrome trim on its sides
transition from front fender to door to quarter panel while
remaining impressively level. If you ever do get caught in the
rain, the white power convertible top is brand new and goes up and
down perfectly.
The interior is in like-new condition with bench seats in front and
back show that are very well padded and comfortable with a matching
fold down arm rest in front. The car is fully loaded including air
conditioning, tilt wheel, power seats and windows along with the
top-of-the-line stereo system for 1973! Just in front of the stock
Cadillac steering wheel the gauges inside the instrument cluster
are easily readable through a clear lens and the dash pad on top is
level and split-free.
This vintage convertible runs just like it did the day it came of
the assemble line with only 77,000 miles accumulated over 45 years.
There's a 500-cubic inch V-8 under that lengthy hood and the
sizable engine is bolted to a newly rebuilt 3-speed automatic
transmission that shifts with precision. The power steering is nice
and tight and with power brakes on all four corners the car comes
to a stop quickly and without pull. It sits with it perfect
original stance on the stock 15? wheels and like-new tires. This is
a true piece of Americana just begging to get out and cruise this
summer! It is rare to find an original Caddy in this kind of
condition with so few miles.
Don't miss out on this classic for only $24,900.00!
