1967 Ford Mustang Coupe California - Shelby Clone
EXTERIOR: vehicle currently presents quite well paint finish four or five years old chips and scratches consistent with age. Paint has some stress cracks in the fiberglass hood which is typical for fiberglass body panels. Most of the exterior chrome was brand new at the time of restoration and still present quite well and most they new looking wheels are Shelby wheels in good condition. All body gaps and doors open and close as they should fiberglass hood has some larger gaps which is consistent with many aftermarket fiberglass pieces lines up OK not perfect. Overall exterior finish presents very well excellent daily driver paint is still very glassy waves flat and it’s not wavy looks quite nice.
INTERIOR: Brand new carpet, bucket upholstery, Dash pad, headliner, and miscellaneous – trim, door panels, armrests, and miscellaneous dash trim pieces. Headliner is new and looks presentable but does have some extra wrinkles. Nice cobra formats authentic Shelby console and seatbelts overall interior condition very nice.
TIRES, BRAKES, SUSPENSION: Tires are newer with plenty of good tread original style reproduction Shelby wheels.Front steering components and sway bars are network rear leaf springs seem to be original breaks dual master cylinder good operating condition no known issues stops handles and rides well.
ELECTRICAL: starting and charging system in good working condition. All gauges horns, lights, turn signals, and radio in working condition.
MECHANICAL: Powerful 302 engine said to have been rebuilt no more than 4000 miles ago. Starts and runs very well new heavy duty aluminum radiator new starter fuel pump and many extra accessories. Newer battery. Shelby valve covers and air cleaner chrome export brace. And electronic Pertronix ignition.
