There are few automotive icons that bring as much joy and nostalgia
as Volkswagens ubiquitous Bus. The Type 1 Bus first game to the
states in 1951 and very characterized by their large number of
windows (21 or 23). The later T2 model were much revised and were a
bit larger and heavier than the early models. The T2 models were
made famous by their partnership with Westfalia, a German based
camper conversion company. With that legendary pairing, the famous
VW Westy was born.

for your consideration. Finished in classic Sage Green, this VW is
a standout in any crowd. The body is impressively clean and dent
and rot free and the van came to us from the Pacific Northwest. The
paint quality is excellent and the body is accented by white steel
bumpers, white pop top, white painted wheels, and shiny chrome
trim. The van also has front mounted spare tire and twin vented
screen windows on the door and side. The Westfalia package brings a
cool lifting camper top, power hookup on the side, and custom
interior. The interior itself is lovely and in excellent condition.
The seats are upholstered in matching green plaid and they are all
in great shape. The dashboard is clean and original and the rear
quarters have the folding seats, great wood cabinetry, sliding
table, sink and gas stove, green curtains, carpeting, and tons of
storage! The interior is a great place to spend extended amounts of
time and is a true home on wheels.
This bus recently came out long term ownership where it was very
well taken care of. The bus comes to us with tons of service
history for everything from interior trim replacement to a new
wiring harness and rebuilt steering. The 1.8L flat four engine is a
peach and runs very well and is mated to a 4-speed manual
transmission. This bus goes down the road like a champ and is ready
cruise America just like it did in its heyday.
