MSRP of nearly $186,000. An impeccably presented original example
of the famed 996 GT2, this particular Porsche displays just 9,600
miles driven since new, in stock configuration, riding on its
original set of Michelin Pilot Sport tires. While the front bumper
and bonnet were painted due to normal road rash, the remainder of
the car's body panels retain the original factory applied paint -
as confirmed by meter readings. The cabin presents as original with
delicately preserved surfaces and working electronics. Its stunning
cosmetic condition is supported by all original books, cards and
pamphlets in folio, along with clean Carfax and AutoCheck reports.
Emergency accessories located in the front luggage compartment,
such as the tools, gloves air compressor and bottle appear
unused.
With just two owners from new, the 911 spent most of its life under
the first custodian's care in Ormond Beach, Florida, until 2017
when the car changed hands to a noted Midwest collector. Most
recently, in June 2018, the GT2 received a complete "20k"
intermediate service and multi-point inspection by Porsche of West
Houston.
