Vehicle Description
This 2017 Dodge Ram 4x4 2500 diesel crew cab Big Horn Edition has a
6' bed and was built on Velocity TV's show, ToyMakerz in an episode
titled "Overland Rescue Truck." It has 7,000 actual miles on it and
is powered by a custom-tuned 6.7-liter Cummins diesel engine backed
by a 6-speed automatic transmission and equipped with Mega exhaust
and a cold air box. It was sent by the dealer to American
Expedition Vehicles for a conversion to their Prospector
conversion. It has an AEV Dual Sport 3" suspension, AEV heat
reduction hood, AEV black leather interior with logos, AEV snorkel,
AEV steel bumper, AEV custom fender flares, Vision X front bumper
light bar, Vision X Cannon Generation 2 bumper, off-road lighting,
and Amp Research power retractable side steps (now with LED
lighting). It was then programmed and tuned on the show. It has
been fitted with a custom cantilevered platform bed rack and filled
with Vision X and Whalen high-output LED 360-degree lighting. All
lighting is controlled by an sPod touchscreen controller. This
custom pickup was also outfitted with Superwinch recovery
equipment, FLIR Pathfindir II thermal forward-facing camera system,
and rides on 40" Yokohama Geolandar tires on custom 12.5" wide
rims. CARFAX shows FCA US LLC manufacturer safety recalls issued on
11/01/2017: diesel water pump; and 01/04/2018: brake transmission
shift interlock.
