Vehicle Description
Offered for sale is an awesome 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS! This car
belonged to a personal friend of ours in Birmingham, AL. For the
last 47 years our friend Jim Harden owned and meticulously cared
for this car. He worked at Jim Limbaugh Chevrolet in the service
department in 1973 where this car was traded in. The original owner
traded it while it was wearing its original black paint. At that
time, it was just as it came from the General. Then about 10 years
ago Jim decided to go through the car. He worked at a Restoration
shop called Impatient Creations. During his time there they
repainted the pristine body in Antique Gold Poly. At different
times during Jim's ownership, everything was gone through. The
engine was done during the last 6 months; it's 30 over and
balanced. The motor transmission and rear are born with components.
Also, with the car comes the Original Build sheet and Protecto
Plate. This car comes with 396-350HP-Turbo 400 Trans, 12 Bolt Posi
331 and F-41 suspension. Engine build was finished November 1st,
2016, new steel, crank, new 270 Roller cam, new Roller lifters, SS
Valves, new Fly wheel, Roller Rockers, and all the brakes were
redone at that time. This car was made in Atlanta and Sold New at
John Ellis Chevrolet in Memphis, Tennessee. The paint on this car
is outstanding as well as the drivability. This car is also loaded
with options: Power Steering, Power disc Brakes, Cold A.C., Bucket
seats, Console, Gauge package, stripes, functional cowl induction,
bumper guards, and dealer installed cruise control. If you're
looking for an outstanding example of a documented 70 Chevelle SS
that hasn't been on the market since it was sold new, then here it
is, your "Huckleberry".
