Vehicle Description
We are very happy to have for sale in our Redmond Showroom, a very
clean, very nice, and very rare 1972 Ford Gran Torino Station
wagon. Yes, a Shark Nose Station wagon!! How cool is that? If you
follow our web site or YOUTUBE Channel, you know that we are very
into 1972-73 Torino's. This is the very first 1972 Ford Torino
wagon that we have ever had. In fact, it is the very first 1972
Gran Torino, Shark nose wagon, that I have ever seen, and to top it
off, she is powered by a very strong running original 351 Cleveland
V8, and original C6 transmission. This is one very cool wagon. In
my opinion, this is about the best body style they ever had on a
station wagon. Its long, and it's big, yet it stands very sleek,
and very cool. This beautiful 1972 Muscle car was purchased in
completely original 2 owner condition. With its original paint,
interior, and running gear. We had her repainted back to her
original, silver blue metallic paint, added new carpet, and new
headliner, new front seat upholstery, and put on the great looking
wheels and tires. We had the Carburetor rebuilt, and the gas tank
dropped and cleaned. This cool wagon is ready to cruse, you want to
talk about a great weekend family muscle car, then this baby is the
one. Put the family in and head to the drive in (if you can find
one) or head to the beach and have a picnic. This wagon is ready to
do it all. American Classic station wagons are almost all gone.
These iconic machines were once in every family drive way in this
great nation. Today, they have all been replaced by mini vans, and
SUVs with self-sliding doors, and TV screens on every seat. These
family transportation wagons were once the way we all got around.
In a much simpler time the phrase road trip meant looking out the
window at the country side and scenery. Not looking at a tablet
with a game on it. If you are looking for a really nice wagon, that
is ready for summer family fun, this is as good as it gets. Believe
me; I'm fairly certain, you will have the only 1972 Ford Gran
Torino Station wagon in town, or maybe the entire state. The 1972
Gran Torino is iconic for its look, and also for the Clint Eastwood
Movie... Gran Torino. This is the family version of that car. So
cool, I could go on and on about it. This is without any doubt, my
favorite wagon that we have ever had, and we have had allot of
wagons over the years. At Cool Classic Rides, we sell great daily
drivers, weekend cruisers, and just plain fun cars, the kind of
cars that will get lots of attention, and thumbs up, wherever you
drive them. We don't sell chopped up show cars. We sell original
classic American steel. We take great pride in selling our cars at
very reasonable prices that we believe will be far below the
national average. This beautiful wagon is just another example of
that. Priced at $12,500.00 this is a ton of wagon, and a ton of
cool for that kind of money. We always recommend a private viewing
or professional inspection on any car you are considering. We
welcome trades. We are always here to answer any questions. Kelly
