is pleased to present this 1975 International-Harvester Scout II
4x4. Like all Scout IIs, this example came off of International's
Ft. Wayne, Indiana assembly line. This example has had two owners
throughout its life and comes from the dry American southwest.
Dressed in black with golden brown trim, the truck's paint and trim
are in very good condition, with minor blemishes visible upon close
inspection but the black exterior paint is very glossy. The truck's
bodywork is in good condition, including the luggage rack, the
engine bay is extremely tidy, the battery appears new and the shiny
bumpers shine brilliantly in the light. This 4x4's windows are
clear and intact and in overall great condition while its lights
are in a similar state. The SUV's cargo area is in very good order.
The hardtop is also removable. This truck rolls on its original IH
Chrome Rallye wheels, each one surrounded by a new BFGoodrich
All-Terrain light truck tire, size 33X10.50R15. Under the hood is a
345 CID V-8 engine that breathes through dual exhaust that exit
ahead of the rear axle and the motor is buttoned to a four-speed
manual transmission, Power-Lok differential plus a set of
Lock-O-Matic front hubs. Driver convenience features include power
steering, power brakes and factory front discs. The truck has new
Rancho shock absorbers, new brake lines, new brake booster, master
cylinder and brake lines. In addition, the fuel system has recently
been serviced but the horn is currently inoperable and the
speedometer functions but fluctuates. Inside, the Golden Brown
interior is in overall very good order. The front 60/40 split bench
seat, and rear fold-down bench seat that is removable, look great,
the plush black carpet looks great and the bare metal headliner is
in very good condition. The original, three-spoke steering wheel
looks great and has a leather-wrapped rim while the original
factory painted black and brown dashboard is in good order while
inner door panels are in similar good order. The shifter is in
similar good order. Rounding out the interior is a factory AM/FM
stereo. Competition to this Scout in 1975 included Chevrolet's K5
Blazer, Dodge's Ramcharger, Ford's Bronco, GMC's Jimmy, Jeep's CJ-7
and Plymouth's Trailduster. Scouts are becoming rarer as the years
pass, so if you're looking for a distinctive four-by-four,
something to set you apart from the crowd, please come on down to
MotoeXotica Classic Cars and look this truck over so you can put it
in your garage before someone else stores it in theirs. This truck
is currently located at our facility in St. Louis, Missouri.
Current mileage on the odometer shows 59,247 miles. It is sold as
is, where is, on a clean and clear, mileage exempt title. GET OUT
