needs no formal introduction; it's a gorgeous 1979 Pontiac Firebird
Trans Am 2 Door Coupe that was immortalized in the Smokey & the
Bandit movies of the late 1970's. �This original survivor features
a repaint of the original Starlight Black with the correct Gold
Eagle and trim, along with a factory 6.6L V-8 engine, 4 bbl
carburetor and the matching Turbo 350 automatic transmission. �It's
also factory equipped with power steering, power brakes, power
windows/locks, tilt wheel steering, cold factory air conditioning,
and the original interior, plus a nice aftermarket CD/stereo
system.�
This highly desirable classic muscle car is in outstanding
condition with 54,000 original lifetime miles and it ready for the

This 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Coupe has been enjoyed by three
lifetime owners and it's one of the nicest surviving examples we've
seen this year. �The current owner tells us that it's a pleasure to
drive with a smooth ride and excellent handling, and our test drive
certainly lined up with that statement. �The big 403 cid �V-8
engine sounds fantastic and this sports car really gets down the
road in a hurry when prompted. �It was lowered two inches to
improve its overall stance and it also features brand new shocks,
rebuilt sway bars and new stainless exhaust tips.
Additionally, this 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Coupe shows very
nicely in person with only insignificant signs of wear and tear.
�This one received new paint and trim work a few years back and the
body lines look awesome in the sunlight- it's as straight as can be
and a beautiful sight to behold. The factory interior is also way
above average as well and there's only been a few minor
refurbishments; the door hinges have been rebuilt and new ducts
were run for the A/C vents. Otherwise, this one is factory correct
(besides the upgraded stereo and ride height) and a true sight to
behold in person.�
There probably isn't a collector alive that wouldn't love to own
this prestigious classic muscle car.
