History: This 1925 Ford Model T Truck is not only beautiful, but is all original and in mint condition. From 1925 to 1973, it was owned by one person in California's Lower Central Valley. It was used as a hay wagon. It was then in San Joaquin County from 1973 to 2013. For this time, the truck was used infrequently and stored in a barn. It was owned by relatives of the current owner. Now the truck is kept on a private ranch and drove regularly for short rides. It is maintained by a professional mechanic with assistance from the owner.
Engine: In 2015-2016, it was fully rebuilt and is in full working order. The engine can be started by its crank or an electric/battery operated starter. The button is located on the floor of the cabin. The engine has gone less than 300 miles.
Cabin: Ford made cab with black interior and leather headliner. The windows are controlled by saddle lifts. There is a hand cranked windshield wiper. The roof is rubberized for weather proofing.
Body: Original black color that was repainted 15 years ago. The paint is in mint condition. The bed of the truck is oak wood. The bed is surrounded by a complete set of rails, including the original steel posts, bolts, and unique angles to slot into place. The wooden rails have been replaced and come from an old wooden fire truck.
Wheels: Original Hickory spokes with brass hubs. Rear wheels have Lucas 30x5 tires and front are Firestone gun-dipped 30x3.5 tires.
Miscellaneous: Original owner's Manuel. Has period appropriate horn and rear view mirror. Truck is registered in California as roadworthy. It has the original 1925 license plate. A bolted suitcase to bed for supplies that includes a 1930's Fire Extinguisher.
