Over the past 10 years, this McLaren M1B was constructed to
exacting standards. We have on file hundreds of receipts, drawings
and data points used to make this a "new" racing car. Fitted with
an aluminum small block Ford racing engine with 4 dual-barrel Weber
carburetors, this track-ready racer has over 500hp. All this power
goes through a Hewland gearbox and down to period correct mag
wheels. The workmanship throughout is impeccable. The welds of the
frame, the bodywork and the switchgear are all world-class. The M1B
was vetted last year by a well-known racing shop and then put
through the paces at the Thermal race track. It performed
flawlessly, fires up "on the button", pulls like a train and
handles wonderfully. This homage to a 50 year old legend is ready
for the track and for you.
