If you have been wanting a classic truck but your other half wants
a classic car this El Camino is the best compromise and will make
both of you happy for years to come. 1968 would be the first year
if what many consider the best looking of all Chevelle's. With a
much rounder and sleeker shape, the new body style was an instant
success. As with previous years the El Camino would be based on the
Chevelle with the front end being that of the Chevelle. This
example would make a terrific addition to any collection or even
use as a daily driver. The paint and interior are new and show well
with no signs of any major body work. Under the hood is a new
Blueprint 355 cubic inch V8 which throws out 440 hp and 450 torque,
mated to a new BMI built 350 turbo transmission. Putting power to
the ground is a Richmond 12-bolt Posi rear end that has a set of
3:09 gears giving it a great mix of off the line acceleration and
top end torque. Inside the leather Procar seats are comfortable and
get you ready to feel all 400 of those horses. The wooden steering
wheel is a nice touch and looks great inside the cab. Options on
this 1968 Chevrolet El Camino include; AM/FM Radio, Power Steering,
Power Brakes, Hub Caps, Leather Interior, Seat Belts, Rally Wheels
and Radial Tires. This beautiful 1968 El Camino is for sale in our
