Original 1966 Chevelle SS 396/325hp car. The engine and
transmission are the original, numbers matching units. Tastefully
"Day-Two" modified to 375hp L78 specifications. The original heads
and intake manifold, and air cleaner assembly were removed and
boxed in favor of L78 spec. Aluminum Intake Manifold and Square
Port Heads. A New Old Stock (NOS) NASCAR Cowl Plenum Air Breather
Assembly completes the look and rams cold charged air down the
carburetor. Other personalizations include a color change from
Lemonwood Yellow to Candy Apple Red.
Interior is factory stock, black vinyl bench seat interior,
floor-shifted four with no console. Overall, it is clean and
original appearing, mellowed with time, but not worn by any
means.
High flow exhaust with long tube headers is the only derivation
from factory stock appearing on the underside of the car. Factory
detail includes the striped markings on the driveshaft. The
undercarriage is clean and dry, better than you find on most cars
that are meant to be driven and enjoyed.
If you are looking for the best combination of looks and
performance while remaining to true to 1966, then you've found the
Chevelle SS you've been hunting!
