The Diamond Jubilee Thunderbird is a one year only model that was
built to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Ford Motor Company.
This special edition T-Bird was the most luxurious Thunderbird
built and came with an incredibly long list of standard features.
This is a one family owned example that's all original with only
13,000 miles since new. It comes with its original owners manual,
dealer order, dealer bill of sale, sales brochure, keys and gold
plaque which is still in the box. The paint & interior are original
and the original spare tire has never been used. It's powered by a
302 ci V8 engine and equipped with an automatic transmission, power
steering, power brakes, cold air conditioning, tilt steering wheel,
power windows, power door locks, power seat, power antenna and
power trunk release. The radio is the original factory town &
country stereo with seek & scan. The color is unique to the Diamond
Jubilee edition as are many other features such as the special
cloth upholstery, genuine leather stitched dash pad & steering
wheel cover, color keyed wheels, grill & bumper rub strips, padded
formal top with closed quarter window, Diamond Jubilee script in
the opera window, special pinstripe, owners initials on doors,
extra thick 36 ounce cut pile carpet in passenger compartment and
color keyed carpet in trunk area with carpeted liner on trunk lid.
Many special edition automobiles amount to a few decals and emblems
but as you can see the Diamond Jubilee was much more than that.
