Vehicle Description
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this very unique 1925 Ford
Model T Street Rod for consideration. The current owner purchased
this vehicle fully stock in 2004 - the restoration/build began soon
after he picked up the vehicle and was completed over a two-year
process. The vehicle is engineered with a custom built frame and
chromed suspension. The body work is phenomenal and finished in a
beautiful Black paint, over a Black leather interior. The power
plant is a 455 cubic inch V8 which was torn down and completely
rebuilt along with the 400 automatic transmission before installing
it in the vehicle. It has custom built headers, vinyl covered top,
a Chevy rear end, 1959 Cadillac rear lights, Harley-Davidson gas
tank for front air ventilation, back bumper to old Astro van in
place of interior dash, Wingstar alloy rear wheels with cheater
slicks and gasser ET alloy wheels in front. This car took three
first place trophies at Autorama in Detroit, has been featured in
Street Rodder magazines and has received too many 1st place awards
to list. Please call or email us today for more information on this
Custom 1925 Ford Model T Street Rod.
Although automobiles had already existed for decades, they were
still mostly scarce and expensive at the Model T's introduction in
1908. Positioned as reliable, easily maintained mass market
transportation, it was a runaway success. In a matter of days after
the release, 15,000 orders were placed. The first production Model
T was produced on August 12, 1908, and left the factory on
September 27, 1908, at the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant in Detroit,
Michigan. On May 26, 1927, Henry Ford watched the 15 millionth
Model T Ford roll off the assembly line at his factory in Highland
Park, Michigan.
