This "one of one" 612 Scaglietti was commissioned in December of
2008 at the Tailor Made studio at the Ferrari factory in Maranello,
Italy. The client (the only owner since new) selected many, many
bespoke options and put them together in a way that made a truly
unique one-off 612. The brown paint, called Brunito metallic was
chosen as the focal point of the car and the "coves" were accented
with Grigio Ingrid, recalling the famous 375MM owned by Ingrid
Bergman. Additional exterior customizations are: Ingrid headlamp
buckets, grigio scuro 20" rims, silver centercaps and Cavallino
horse on the fuel lid. The regular must hoptions of glass roof,
HGTC package were also picked. The interior of the 612 is full
treated Iroko leather throughout (including the full trunk area)
with diamond patterned seats and ostrich-style leather around the
upper surround...all hand made in the Ferrari factory. Additional
Tailor Made features are: wood steering wheel rim, full leather
console, stitched headrests and since it was also special for those
Italians that built it, they painted the engine cowl Ingrid and
they all signed it...very special indeed. This car has been local
since new, always serviced at the Ferrari dealer (just completed an
annual service) and has only covered less than 5,200 miles. 612
Scagliettis were very limited in production when new and much
prettier than the car that replaced it (FF/Lusso) and have been
getting better with age so this is the perfect car to have going
forward.
