General Description
Up for sale is our sweetheart, the American dream on wheels, this 1966 Corvette Sting Ray Roadster Convertible. The car has been owned by our company since 2008 as part of the President/CEO's personal collection. In 2009-2010 it had a complete frame-on restoration. NOM engine rebuilt bored .30 over with new bearings, high performance camshaft, balanced, and new gaskets. Nearly every part on the vehicle both aesthetic and mechanical was replaced with thousands spent. All receipts available on request. Many tasteful and practical modern resto-modifications and needs absolutely nothing. This vehicle is not a trailer queen, although it’s been driven only about 1000 miles on average each year since 2010 and is garaged and insured year round in AZ. While in excellent condition, this is not an NCRS Top Flight show winner. There are minor imperfections in the paint, the undercarriage has not been detailed, and we’ve done our best to document/photograph accordingly, so please rely upon both the write-up and your visual observations of the photos/videos to ascertain the present condition of the vehicle.
Included in the write-up below is a post-restoration description from an expert vehicle appraiser (served as curator for the British Columbia Transportation museum for over a decade) who we hired to assess the vehicle’s value and condition for insurance purposes. The appraisal is based on his in-person inspection and review of all purchase receipts in 2010 with a mileage of 20,792. Present mileage at the time of listing is 28,042.
Recent Maintenance
• Full interior / exterior detail in March 2018 at 28,000 miles.
• Replaced thermostat, water pump, water pump assembly, cooling system flush, repacked front wheel bearings, wheel alignment, transmission fluid in Oct 2015 at 27,287 miles.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: A restored 1966 Corvette convertible. During restoration the car was stripped and any damaged panels repaired or replaced. Quality of restoration is very good.
EXTERIOR FINISH: The car is finished in red base coat/clear coat with black hood spear. Wet sanded and polished between coats. Paint quality is very good.
FRONT FENDERS: Very good restored condition. The undersides are undercoated and the inner fenders are well finished.
HOOD: Very good restored condition. The hinges and latches work well, fit is good.
ROOF: New black convertible top in very good condition.
DOORS: Very good restored condition. The hinges and latches work well, fit is good.
RUNNING BOARDS, ROCKER PANELS, DOOR SILLS: Very good original rocker panels with new inner sills.
REAR FENDERS: Rear quarter panels in very good restored condition.
TRUNK: The rear storage area is upholstered in black loop weave carpet.
GRILL AND BRIGHT WORK: Good original chrome and stainless steel trim. Some new badges are installed. The grill has been restored.

FRONT SUSPENSION: Upgraded stock independent unit with new Hawk power disc brakes. Stainless steel caliper inserts, new gas shocks, new bushings throughout, new rod ends, new ball joints and new sway bar bushings.
REAR SUSPENSION:
