Beautiful and fun. This 1968 Mustang GT is ready to drive and enjoy. A complete restoration was done prior to my ownership of the car, but I do have the restoration shops contact information and I'm happy to pass that info along to the buyer upon purchase. I've only owned the car for about a year, I have some other projects to fund and although I really enjoy this car, it's time for me to move on with one of my other projects. I've had fun doing some local cruise-in's and local car shows, as well as, taking the wife out for a short cruise for ice cream or the drive-in theater. It gets noticed every where I take it, lots of waves and thumbs up driving this baby down the block. The car has never failed to either win, or place at the local car shows I've done with it and is such quality that it would hold it's own in almost any show. It's a very solid example, with the plus that it's been well taken care of since it's restoration. I'm the second owner post restoration, the first owner is a close friend, so I know the car's history since restoration. The car is always garage kept, and has never been caught in the rain. Everything except the clock is in good working order.
This 1968 Mustang GT is an original J code Mustang that still has it's original 302cid 4V engine, and C-4 Automatic Transmission. Added during the restoration were headers and new exhaust, which provide a very pleasing rumble to the aggressive stance and appearance of this fun little convertible. The shock towers were removed and replaced with a Mustang II front-end, which provides great handling for cruising the back roads or tooling down the interstate. Also added were the sub-frame connectors and they really add to the great handling nature of this car. The American racing torq-thrust wheels are in excellent shape, and the BF Goodrich P22560R15 Radial TA tires have 75% tread, still in the green so ready to enjoy right away.
