You won't believe your eyes when you see this amazing 1965 Corvette
Mako Shark kit in person. The car is so beautiful, you have to see
it to believe it! This garnet red Shark with black leather interior
is sure to catch everyone's eye, especially when you cruise with
the top off. It's equipped with a 427 cubic-inch big block engine,
mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. The Mako Shark II was built
in 1965 under the direction of Bill Mitchell, and set the design
standard for the 1968-1982 production Corvette. It made its debut
at the 1965 Paris Auto Show. This hand-built Corvette was a
favorite of Mitchell's and he drove it daily. Its paint scheme
matched the original Mako Shark, which was constructed four years
earlier. The original Mako Shark was then retroactively called the
"Mako Shark I". This 1965 Mako Shark kit is for sale in our
Milwaukee Showroom and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com;
