This was purchased out of a Museum recently and it is looking for a new home.
Interior:
The car has the original interior with no rips or tears in the seats or headliner, and the dashboard and floor are in excellent condition as well. The interior is very nice, I think this is one of my favorite interior patterns that they offered at the time! All of the windows go up and down with ease and all of the interior gauges work as they should. This truly is a time capsule. Radio turns on but will not fetch a signal.
Exterior:
The exterior of the Impala looks great! It sports a driver quality paint job and has no signs of rust and or rot. All of the body lines are great! All the chrome is in excellent condition, there is one spot on the rear bumper on the underside where the chrome is discolored, this is something you can only see if lifted in the air. All of the bright work shows excellent. All of the exterior lights look to be working as they should. This is an Iconic car that is not going to last long in our inventory!
Drivetrain:
This Impala is powered by a smooth running 327, the motor is clean on the underside. There is no smoke and or burning oil coming from the exhaust. It does have a slight dead spot upon acceleration but it seems to be a carb issue as it goes away once warm. Overall it is a very solid and sorted car. It runs great.
