Tributes and clones are a great way to get into a dream car for a
smaller price, and this 1968 Shelby GT350 fastback tribute
certainly does it right. No expense was spared with this frame off
restoration with every nut and bolt either being replaced or
refurbished. Kleve Restorations out of Lakewood Colorado sprayed
the very clean Ford performance white with Guardsman blue stripes
to keep with the Shelby heritage. Every chrome piece is new, plus
all of the stainless trim has been professionally restored. It has
a long list of authentic parts, a strong running 347 cubic inch V8.
Also the right look to make everyone at the local show do
double-take when it rolls in. The engine is not original, it was
built by Tristar Engines. Helping it pump out 418 horsepower is a
set of Edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads, Howard's roller camshaft,
and ceramic coated headers are just some of the top shelf
performance part included in the build. When paired with the Tremec
5-Speed T5 Z spec transmission you can cruise down the highway at
1,600 rpm while traveling 65 mph. Anyone lucky enough to sit behind
the steering wheel will appreciate the great level of detail that
went into this car! Once glance at the dash and you'll notice
reproduction Mustang gauges featuring an 8,000 rpm tachometer as
weel as a 160 mph speedometer. Making sure you are in total control
of everything electrical is the new painless wiring harness
complete with modern fuses. 17" Eleanor styled wheels help round
out the entire package nicely. You can view this 1968 Shelby GT350
