Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to offer a very cool 1979
Chevrolet Nova. Though it started just a plain jane Nova with a 6
cylinder engine, it has come a long way. The 6 banger has been
swapped for a ZZ383 Gm Crate engine. This 383 CID Stroker is good
for 425 horsepower and 460 lb ft of torque. It sports Accel HEI
Ignition, performance electric fuel pump, Edelbrock intake, Holley
770 Avenger Carburetor, and of course, dual exhaust. The
Transmission was upgraded with a shift kit and the rear end has
3.42 gears with Posi-traction. To accompany the new powerful drive
train, almost everything else has been upgraded as well. This
includes the brakes, wheels, tires, springs, shocks, radiator, fan,
interior and paint. You could say the performance parts catalogue
was thrown at this one. The result is a freshly built V8 Nova with
a really nice clean look. The car has only traveled about 2,000
miles since receiving it's V8 power plant and is begging to be
driven more. Though it is a bit of a hot rod, the car is still a
reliable, comfortable cruiser ready to hit the next car show. You
can see this one of a kind 1979 Chevrolet Nova in greater detail in
our Dallas showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please
