It was purchased and restored in Peru by Don Jorge Nicolini, owner of the Museo de Autos Nicolini to the museum’s highest standards. The wood was sourced from Peru, South America and is very similar in color as the wood used by Ford to the same standards used in 1947. Restoration was completed in September 2017, all elements of the vehicle that is paint, vinyl, windows, seals, chrome and stainless present as new or in restored condition. The vehicle has a stock heater and a radio. The power comes from a flathead V-8 which has had some upgrades from stock, matched to a 3 speed manual transmission. The vehicle drives and runs flawlessly.
This vehicle has only become available due to the passing away of its owner and it has been kept in excellent condition, as it has been stored in a special air chamber with controlled environment technology.
