Vehicle Description
This 1960 Ford Starliner known as "May Cause Dangerous" was built
by Gambino Kustoms and Kirk Jones. Inspired by early '60s-era
custom cars, this Starliner has had a Larry Watson-inspired panel
paint job applied in PPG Vibrance Pearl White, a custom mix of Roth
Metal flake and custom-mixed Candy Blue. The interior is a mix of
white vinyl, NOS 1958 Cadillac blue inserts and mother-of-pearl
accents. The drivetrain consists of a stock 352ci Ford engine, with
a rebuilt stock Ford Cruise-O-Matic transmission. The chassis has
been tastefully upgraded with drop spindles and RideTech shockwave
airbags up front. Out back, a bolt-on 4-link from RideTech was
utilized along with airbags to get a lowered stance. Air management
is done via an E-level kit from RideTech. Front brakes have been
converted to disc, and all other brake components were rebuilt or
replaced. This Starliner is a multiple show-winner and has been
featured in various magazines, most notably as the cover car on The
Rodders Journal and Cruisin'.
