Vehicle Description
This 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS 409 hardtop is powered by a
matching-numbers 409ci W-head V8 engine mated to a 4-speed manual
transmission. From a prominent private collection, this Impala
underwent a high-quality, no-expense-spared, professional,
frame-off rotisserie restoration. This five-year build started with
a bare frame and everything - including every nut, bolt, wire,
gasket, seal, all the glass, rubber and wiring - is new or has been
rebuilt or refurbished. All of the body panels were painted
separately and then reassembled. This arrow-straight 409 is
finished in burgundy paint accented by very bright trim, emblems,
SS spinner hubcaps and bias-ply whitewall tires. The gorgeous black
upholstered interior features bucket seats, a floor console with a
chrome shifter, dash with console accents, a pod-mounted tachometer
and push-button AM radio. The engine compartment, under hood and
trunk are all finished well on this example of 60s Chevrolet
performance.
