1970 Chevrolet Camaro RS Z28 in Uncasville, Connecticut
This 1970 Camaro was born a Rally Sport Z/28 and has been fully
customized with modern luxury. The gorgeous Ebony black body is
accented with Candy Red and a Cashmere-colored interior. It is
powered by a 7.0-liter LS7 engine that produces 505hp, and features
a dry-sump oiling system and a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission.
The custom 3" oval exhaust is fully ceramic-coated and finished off
with four exhaust tips that are hand-tailored into the rear body
panel. A Heidts Pro G suspension provides ultimate cornering and
handling capabilities. This Camaro is equipped with power rack &
pinion steering, subframe connectors, Wilwood drilled and slotted
rotors, Wilwood polished brake calipers, billet coilovers and an
independent rear suspension. The IRS features inboard rotors that
mount next to the 3.23 gear ratio third member to reduce weight out
at the wheels and to enhance performance. Custom-ordered 19" Intro
Westcoast wheels are used to fill in the Detroit Speed rear mini
tub, with 18" Intro tires in the front. Kindig-It Design smooth bar
door handles and crisp but subtly custom sport mirrors add more
clean style; along with the custom front and rear bumpers, as well
as billet LED driving, indicator and taillights. The custom-made
leather interior is built for comfort with Recaro bucket seats,
Auto Meter Sports Comp 2 gauges, Vintage Air, Kenwood touchscreen
GPS stereo and a Kicker sound system. The one-of-a-kind ride has
test miles only, and was built by Thornton Muscle Cars of
Quakertown, PA.
