Vehicle Description
This car was manufactured by Shelby American and is one of 50 made
to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the slab-side 289 Shelby,
and is a continuation car made exactly like the original cars. It
is a real Shelby Cobra. All 50 cars made are black with red leather
interior, chrome wire wheels and distinctive 50th Anniversary
badging, as well as Shelby VINs from CSX8950 to CSX8999. The car is
period-correct from the boot to the engine bay, including many
additions HRE made to exactly duplicate the original car. The car
has a 1967 289ci engine with 375hp that was rebuilt to K-code
engine specifications, along with a 5-speed manual transmission.
There are 500 break-in miles on the car and it is listed in the
Shelby Registry. Also included with the car is a windshield visor
